I started as an hourly assembler in 1985 and eventually became a Vice President of Operations. Along the way, I learned that strong leadership begins with listening, seeing the work for yourself, and helping people succeed.
The Ascent to Leadership shares the stories behind those lessons—what worked, what I got wrong, and what I would do differently. My hope is to give aspiring leaders a useful head start and give educators real situations to discuss with their students.
